HUI-XIANG XIAO
Biographical Information
Xiao is a graduate of the Central Institute of Fine Arts in Beijing (People's Republic of China). This Chinese artist has done major mural projects (in ceramic tile) throughout China, including in the Great Hall of the People, Beijing International Airport, Yinchuan Bus Station (Ningxia), and Shijiazhang Railroad Station. In 1985 she completed a mural at Nairobi Stadium in Kenya, East Africa. She has taught at the Central Crafts and Arts Institute in Beijing, Hunan Educational College, and the Shanxi Art Institute. She lives in Alhambra.
