Biographical Information
A strong believer in the creative process as a means of social change and spiritual growth, Sykes has been involved in local community arts since 1970. He is the co-founder of St. Elmo Village, a neighborhood-based arts center in the mid-Wilshire area. He often works with children to create murals in the schools. He also teaches painting, drawing, and photography to both children and adults.
