RICHARD RUIZ
Biographical Information
This self-taught artist grew up in the El Sereno area of northeast Los Angeles. In addition to doing many murals around his neighborhood with Ernesto de la Loza (most of which have been destroyed), he was an accomplished pen and ink artist. Ruiz died in a car accident at age 33.
