ROYAL CHICANO AIR FORCE
Biographical Information
Royal Chicano Air Force (Jose Montoya, Esteban Villa, Armando Cid, and Juanishi Orozco) is a group of Sacramento artists which emerged in 1969 out of the farmworker organizing drives and boycotts. They have painted many murals, primarily in Sacramento. In addition, the group has offered classes, operated a free breakfast program for children, and run a bookstore and gallery.
