JUAN PUEBLO

Biographical Information

Born in Mexico, Pueblo grew up near the Texas border. After learning the family trade of stone carving and sculpture, he eventually switched to painting because he wanted his work to be accessible to more people. He has his own sign designing and painting business. He hasn't done a mural in several years; instead he makes puppets with recycled materials and does puppet shows as a way of showing that art is easy and affordable when done in a simple way.
