GARY PALMER
Biographical Information
Born in a small town near Belfast, Northern Ireland [1968], Palmer earned a master's degree from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. However, before completing his studies, he spent time in Australia. It was there that he began drawing chalk pictures on the pavement. He eventually spent several years chalking images of freedom and dreams in Canada, England, Ireland, Australia, and the United States. In 1996, a book of his pavement paintings, A Carpet of Dream, was published by RJD Enterprises. Palmer currently lives in Santa Monica.
