FRANK MATRANGA
Biographical Information Born and raised in Alhambra, Matranga graduated from Pasadena City College (1953). Then, after serving as an illustrator in the U.S. Army, he earned a B.F.A (1957) and an M.F.A. (1960) from California State University, Los Angeles. He then did advanced work in ceramics at the University of Southern California. k 1963, he opened a ceramics studio in Redondo Beach. He taught art and ceramics for 20 years.
