KARENA MASSENGILL
Biographical Information
After growing up in a small town in northern California, Massengill studied art at the Tyler School of Fine Art at Temple University in Philadelphia (B.F.A. 1975), the University of Toronto in Canada (Bachelor of Education in visual and industrial arts 1983) and at California State University, Fullerton (M.A. in sculpture 1991-1992). While living in Toronto she received commissions to do 12 mural and sculpture projects in the local schools. She currently teaches wood shop at Lindbergh Middle School in Long Beach.
