FRANK MARTINEZ


Biographical Information

During World War II Martinez (born 1924) did combat illustrations while a soldier in Europe. At the end of the war the army sent him to the London Art Institute for a year. After returning to his native Los Angeles in 1946, he studied art at Chouinard and Otis Art institutes. For many years thereafter he designed lighting fixtures for a local company, retiring in 1986.
