BUCKLEY MacGURRIN

Biographical Information

In 1935 MacGurrin completed a fresco mural titled GASTRONOMY THROUGH THE AGES (PWAP/FERA) for the cafeteria of the Los Angeles County Museum of History, Science and Art in Exposition Park (now the Museum of Natural History). It was later painted over. Between 1936 and 1939 he worked on 10 historical panels for the Hall of Records (FAP) in downtown Los Angeles with Lorser Feitelson and Charles Davis. They are currently in storage. His frescoes in El Monte High School's cafeteria were destroyed in 1992 while the school was being renovated.
