CHARLES "CAT" FELIX
Biographical Information
Felix (died in 1990) was one of the pioneers of the Chicano mural movement in the 1970s. He helped initiate and directed the Estrada Courts Mural Project. A self-taught painter and sculptor, he was raised in Maravilla Housing Project in East Los Angeles. He also created unique nail-reliefs.
