SCOTT B. DOSCH
Biographical Information
On the Venice Boardwalk Dosch is known as 'The Sandman' because since about 1988 he has spent his days sculpting sand sculptures on the sidewalk. He did his first mural in Brussels, Belgium, in about 1970. Several of his mostly self- sponsored aerosol murals are scattered around the Venice Beach area. Born in Colorado, Dosch grew up in Los Angeles and Europe. He attended various art schools, and was in the ministry for about eight years.
