MARK BOWERMAN
Biographical Information
Bowerman (born 1952) studied advertising design and commercial art at Los Angeles Valley College, earning an A.A. degree in 1973. The following year he went to work for Mark Goodson Productions, initially as a production assistant. Shortly thereafter he became an associate producer, and since 1981 has been an artistic and technical consultant. He is also a founding member of the Mural Conservancy of Los Angeles, and serves on its board of directors. In addition to murals, Bowerman does welded steel and stone sculptures, paintings on canvas, and pencil drawings. His work has been exhibited at several local galleries. He lives in Arleta in the San Fernando Valley.
