Date 1992 Location Broadway Elementary School, exterior facing the teachers' parking lot 1015 Lincoln Blvd. (at Broadway) Media Notes Acrylic Student volunteers under the supervision of teacher Castro (at Broadway Elementary School). Description A series of placards with different environmental and peace messages. Two other murals on campus were also completed in 1992. In a SEA OF KNOWLEDGE, sponsored by Clean and Green and painted under the supervision of artist John Estrada (aka Zender). A boy sits and reads with the ocean behind him. The third mural (ONE WORLD, ONE LOVE), sponsored by the School Beautification Committee and painted by Sybil Grinnell, depicts people of different cultures standing in a circle atop a globe.
