Description
This mural honors the city workers who perform the housekeeping functions that keep our towns functioning. The trucks pictured are based on the vehicles used by each department at the yards and the portraits of workers are representative of the activities that occur in the facility. Santa Monica is a very environmentally conscious city and the recycling center that is a part of the site provides the inspiration for the charts of urban ecology that form the background.
