RIP CRONK: OCEAN SWELL and RIPTIDE
Date
1990
Location
Clubhouse Ave. (between Ocean Front Walk and Speedway)
Media Notes
Liquitex acrylic/air brush, 11' x 35' and 22' x 40'
Description
After painting the ocean landscape of RIPTIDE, Cronk left it for a month before adding the colored dashes. In a sense, according to him, he purposely "vandalized" his own mural to encourage people to question whether there might not be a creative aspect to graffiti.
