Description
A fantasy garden with vegetables, exotic birds, flowers, butterflies, lakes and ponds.
Carrabbio's and Elliott's students have done several other murals on campus. MANY FACES (1984) is a portable mural (3' x 9', oil on wood) displayed outside the school's main office. Carrabbio and student Wendy Shon painted five ethnically diverse portraits to represent the variety of students on campus. Outside the Commercial Art room is a painting called Venice Time-Warp (1987) in black, gray and white of a Native American and a young woman student in a field of flowers (6' x 6'). It was done by Elliott and several Visual Arts students. Based on a painting by Henri Rousseau, the jungle mural (1984) was completed on a south-facing bungalow wall by Carrabbio and students Wendy Shon, Juan Burgueno, C. Workman and M.G. Magna.
