Description

The background of both panels is a similar coastal landscape. In the foreground of one a Spanish conquistador and two Gabrleleno Indians meet at the shore. In the other panel modern-day Santa Monicans enjoy some of the region's many outdoor leisure pursuits. A circular petrochrome of the City of Santa Monica's official seal is set into the center of the lobby floor.
