Description
The floors of this entire two-story building are covered with various mosaic designs. Unfortunately the major first-floor mosaic of a large map of air routes is hidden under carpeting, which is glued to the tile. Among those visible are an official seal of the City of Long Beach at one entrance, seagulls at the south door, a sun on one stair landing, and a circle of the 12 signs of the zodiac surrounding a night sky just outside the upstairs dining room.
