Description
The saga of immigrating north to California from Central and South America begins on the far right with a bus. Moving left are images of landmarks passed along the route north, such as the ancient Mayan city of Tikal in Guatemala, Independence Square in Mexico City, and the U.S.-Mexico Border. In the upper left corner the influence of the Pacific Rim is portrayed through an Asian boy showing another child how to use chopsticks.
