Description
Fresco lobby ceiling and paintings are above both side balconies in the auditorium. Auditorium murals: on the right side is a gathering of people affiliated with United Artists (UA) during the 1920s, including Mary Pickford, Gilbert Roland (or Ronald Colman), director D.W. Griffith, photographer Billy Bixler, and Douglas Fairbanks. Above them are four heroic-looking figures riding horses in the sky. They represent members of UA's board of directors at that time. On the auditorium's left side is another gathering of UA personalities, including Rudolf Valentino, Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin, and the back of Billy Bixler. Lurking above them, and looking fiendish, are board members from competing movie studios.
